Orlando, FL - Monday, October 22, 2012
Day 2...
Today has been pretty uneventful. Strangely enough we like it like that. As an owner, we had to meet with Westgate to go over our account. Somehow, they always want to upgrade or find a way to get you to pay money. We stuck to our guns however, and kept it just like it is. We have a 4 BR 4 BA lakefront condo, we no longer owe any money on this vacation property, why would we change that? Anyhow, I have digressed....
We met them at 11 AM for what was supposed to be a 60 minute meeting for breakfast and an "update". We ended up having lunch instead...or that is what they called it. It was skinny hot dogs that seemed to have been cooked for too long, macaroni salad, potato salad, fixings for chili dog or chili cheese nachos and of all things...some home fries.
We should have all refused to eat it...the only thing that I had that was halfway decent was the nachos and cheese.
So after our meeting that ended up being almost 2 hours instead of the 60 minutes we were promised, we headed out to Sprint so that Mom could get her cell phone fixed and rolled through IHop so that Cheryl could actually eat some breakfast. By this time, I'm hungry again, since I didn't eat much of what they called "lunch". So we also rolled through Chick Fil-A so that Sonya and I could get something else to eat.
We are now back in our condo and all just chilling in our rooms....Good day so far....

So once again, I am in sunny Orlando, FL. My family and I have been coming here on a regular basis since I was around 14. When I was 22, we bought a timeshare. We really enjoy coming here. I, on the other hand, absolutely LOVE it here. I have moved here twice, but it seems that I always end up moving back to Illinois
This is the beginning of my week here. This is our first vacation back here without my dad...I will attempt to chronicle my time here with funny anecdotes and pictures. So, are you ready...?
